What are we?
With almost 500 members AEGEE-Amsterdam is one of the largest student organizations in Amsterdam. We're proud to be a part of AGEE-Europe, a student organization that promotes co-operation, communication and integration amongst young people in Europe. As a non-governmental, politically independent and non-profit organization AEGEE is open to students and young professionals from all faculties and disciplines - today it counts 15.000 members, active in more than 240 university cities in 43 European countries, making it the biggest interdisciplinary student association in Europe.
What do we do?
First and foremost we are a laid back student organization active within the Amsterdam area with weekly drinks, parties (like our infamous kinky party), a yearly gala and barbeques. Nevertheless we leave Amsterdam for plenty of European activities such as hitchhiking competitions, exchange projects, skiing holidays, Summer Universities & congresses. We meet each other at least once a week in pub "Café Havelaar" which is really close to our office. Join us every Tuesday between 21:00 - 03:00 UTC/GMT+1!
