Have you ever dreamed of a red carpet beneath your feet and paparazzi all around you as you walk into a room?
In this year’s Summer University we will visit the most beautiful sights in Macedonia. Starting from our capital - Skopje, going to the beaches of Ohrid – the city of UNESCO, to Krushevo – birth place of the most famous Macedonian pop – star.
However, our entire attention will be devoted to our celebrities – the participants.
Our dearest guests, we will give you an opportunity to tap into your creativity, turn your ideas into reality, demonstrate and develop your abilities. You will get to write, paint, sing, dance and learn more about all the possibilities of the artistic and creative fields. Music, movies, photography, books, theater, graffiti, costumes, fashion, street art, all in the spirit of the free thought and honoring the well-known Andy Warhol!
We guarantee that you will get to speak, sing or paint your mind at some point of this journey. Our ultimate goal is for you to loose yourselves in the art and find out what truly makes you happy, discover the limits of your imagination and with it – yourselves! All of this, of course, while you are having the time of your lives! And who knows, you might even extend your 15 minutes of fame… :)

This conference will bring together some 220 participants from the current EU Member States, Croatia, and the candidates and potential candidates for future EU membership to discuss key issues around strengthening youth cooperation throughout Europe.

During the conference, you will be able to meet Ministers from the Croation government, representatives from the European Commission and leading figures from European youth organisations.

Let the experience of your lifetime begin, when AEGEE-Budapest in cooperation with Culture Working Group presents you a professional learning experience in the field of photography while introducing you to the Hungarian culture and spirit!

If you like to take photos and would like to learn even more about it in the company of people with the same interests, AEGEE-Budapest's Summer University is just the place for you! It doesn’t matter if you are a pro or not and wether you have an expensive camera – it will be all about creativity and having fun! We are giving you the opportunity to attend workshops about photography-related topics (such as composition and lighting, usage of Photoshop, photography history etc.) and try out what you learnt previously in a studio using professional equipment!
Apart from the professional background, the most important thing our Summer University has to offer, is the content of the pictures: the memories of a perfect two weeks – the time of our lives in snapshots!
You will also gain insight to Hungarian culture by not only visiting Budapest, our capital city, but by also traveling to Pécs, 2010 Culture Capital of Europe, and you will even be introduced to the less-known side of the country: the Hungarian country life! We provide you city tours, workshops on cultural topics, „the taste of Hungarian gastronomy”, hiking and beautiful panoramas, wine-tasting in Villány, one of Hungary's famous wine regions, visiting a real cheese-making farm, kayaking on Dráva river, all in all the „Hungarian Spirit”, with the great mixture of the most famous „AEGEE-Spirit”! All you have to do is capture the moment, and make this experience truly unforgettable!

Considering yourself a good expert on culture, but never heard that Licitar heart, Diocletian's Palace and Plitvice Lakes belong to the UNESCO's list? Sports-fan, but never played "picigin" or "balote"? And what is "glagoljica", after all? If at least one of these questions seem interesting, keep reading. If not... let's face it, it does.

During the Summer University, AEGEE-Zagreb will lead you through our small, but lovely country. They say that the shape of our border reminds of a bird (maybe a seagull?) in flight. Indeed, this is exactly how we hope to make you feel during this Travel Summer University - flying.

First of all, let's talk about departure point. The city of Zagreb. The biggest city. Agram, Zagabria, Zágráb, Zagrep, Zahreb. The capital of Croatia. Nearly 1 million inhabitants. Looks like Central Europe, breaths like Western Balkans.

The most common first impression people make about Zagreb is: "Looks like Vienna!", "Looks like Budapest!", "Reminds me of Bratislava or Prague!". And they are all right. The time spent inside the Austro- Hungarian Monarchy has left its legacy visible everywhere - museums, Croatian National Theater, the Upper City, the main "Jelačić" square, the main market "Dolac", University of Zagreb. Still, Zagreb wouldn't be so unique without its special addition - Balkan's fragrance.

But what is in it for you? During your stay here, you will have the opportunity to enjoy awesome sightseeing and workshops, as well as amazing opening ceremony. Zagreb is also the place where the Best Night of 'Em All, a.k.a European Night, will take the place. In the end, there is a trip to Jarun, the biggest lake in Zagreb, also known as "Zagreb's Sea".

"Our SU is an intensive course on all aspects that define Spanish Mediterranean culture. Travelling in our Yellow SUnmarine you will be immersed in our cultures, histories and traditions; will be delighted by our gastronomies, will enjoy our different environments and discover how to have a great time in AEGEE-Alicante's style. Get ready for the most amazing two weeks of your life.

Our program includes a wide variety of activities, all of them created to make your experience exciting and amazing, to let you discover the special characteristics that make us so ‘typical Spanish’ and at the same time, so different to other regions of our country. We will visit two regions and their small villages and big cities; we will visit touristic hot spots and discover secret areas off the beaten track. With us, you will not ever feel like a tourist, this is for sure. We will play sports in the sea, climb mountains, cook together, and visit one coastal village during its traditional festival. We will learn about the history of our cities and link it to the present and the future. We will invite you to eat paella and other typical dishes of our gastronomies.

We will do all our best to make you feel at home in our regions, by becoming one big family with you. We will spend 24h together for two weeks, and we know your time with us will be the best SUmmer of your life."

The first things that come to our minds anytime someone speaks about the ‘Spanish way of life’ are delicious food, sunlight, gorgeous beaches... And a laid-back, relaxed and optimistic lifestyle. We invite you to forget about your worries for a couple of weeks and make the most of your optimism through relaxation, assertiveness and motivation workshops, and having fun dancing, expressing yourself... And enjoying Spanish sunlight and sea!

All of this will be provided in the best environment possible: Barcelona and Gran Canaria are two perfect examples of colorful and open-minded cities, with lots of cultural aspects to offer. The sea on our side, and a vibrant nightlife when the sun comes down. In this Travel Summer University, both cities are joining forces to tell Europe how to look on ‘the bright, sunny side of life’ and some clues to make our life more easy-going. As you have noticed a lot of things have changed in Greece lately so why not change a few more, always with your assistance. Are you familiar with the term DIY (do it yourself)? If not, it's time to get your hands dirty! It may have seem that Greek culture is souvlaki, acropolis and mousaka but it's not. Greek culture is in a natural organic Greek product, in a beautiful street somewhere in Athens, in a tasty meal, in a hand painted t-shirt, in a postcard, in a night out with friend. All we want is rebrand culture will you help us? It's easy! We will use the existent culture as first material in order to create something better. Do you like photography let's shoot some pictures in Athens and create a postcard. Do you like t-shirts such as I LOVE AEGEE let's hand paint one from the beginning. Do you like shooting videos, let's make a fun video about your Gre-culture experience. How about cooking do you want to make something traditional, style it up, shoot it and then eat it!? If you want to learn more things on how to self promote a culture feel free to join us, we will be your guides! After leaving our SU you will have an experience in your minds, in your albums, in your cameras and in your bags. One that you didn't buy in a gift shop but one that you made yourselves. AEGEE-COSENZA in collaboration with SPORTS working group are proud to present....DO SPORTS, STAY ACTIVE IN CALABRIA!
Set in the most characteristic seaside hotspots of the Tyrrhenian Coast of Calabria, our Summer Event participants will enjoy 10 days of sports and fun, as well as the traditions and culture of the people of the Calabria region through hands-on experiences above all outside the classroom….on the beach!During these fantastic days our participants will learn more about thematics as the history of Europe Thru Sports, how in our days behaviours as Homophobia and Racism are impacting the European society and the difficulties that are present for people with disabilities in their daily life and how sports can help them in their involvement within society. The Workshops that will be lead by members of the Sports Working Group will be held in a conference room near the hosting area and sportive areas where the participants will enjoy sportive tournaments and the wonderful weather of the land of Sun and Sea. Both individual and collective Sports competitions will decide who is the most sportive AEGEEian this Summer!The social program includes city tours, castle tours, museums, Mediterranean cuisine tours, and relaxing under the warm sun of Calabria’s coast and meeting great friends from all over Europe. Imagine,sitting in the piazza under the stars chatting and laughing with friends listening to great music and then, imagine dancing to the rhythm of the music of Calabria’s greatest DJs under the stars on the soft sand of Calabria’s beach discos, and much more!

The news that everybody was waiting for: AEGEE-Roma, AEGEE-Padova and AEGEE-Udine join again their forces to organize the vol. II of the TSU AEGEE-Caesar! We want to bring Julius Caesar back to life and under his leadership conquer again the Italian peninsula to restore the ancient roman empire!
First we have to free Rome and settle our capital city there. Then we’ll move to the west coast because we need to have the control over the maritime trade in the Tyrrhenian Sea. So we decided to establish a port in Ostia and since our troops will need some rest we are taking a day off at the seaside!
Once the center of Italy is under our domain we can move to the north toward the next territory: Padua. There we count on the help of the Aperol spritz nectar (the typical aperitif of Padua) to defeat the local army! We might also ask advice to the genius of Galileo: he could help us with his deep knowledge of geography and astrology. But the region is not yet taken without the control of Venice: city of narrow streets and bridges, old palaces and churches, canals and gondolas, love, carnival, handmade glass art and many other hidden secrets. As a reward to our valorous legionaries we will spend some hours in one of our beloved roman spa!
Of course, we imagine that Caesar at this point might be disoriented for the big changes happened in more than two thousand years to his great empire, but we have already planned cultural and language workshops to let him catch up a little bit!
The troops will then move farther up and march to Udine, but before conquering the third antenna they first have to survive to the medieval festival in Gemona and then open a way also to the Adriatic Sea by establishing another port in Aquileia. The last challenge will be cross the vineyards of Cividale and take some provisions of grapes juice to be consumed during the last battles that will take place between the beaches, the clubs and the aquatic park of Lignano!
So, in order to make this expedition possible, we need the help of 25 participants interested in Italian history and culture and strong enough to resist to this epic travel and to the triumphal parties after each successful battle! Join us, throw the dice with Caesar and be part of the legend: it is your chance to become a hero!
